Both campgrounds have check-in stations, centrally located bathhouses, and a dump station. Sites have grills and picnic tables as well as campfire rings, which are great places to roast marshmallows or tell ghost stories.

River Run Campground is within the main area of the park and is within walking distance to our nature trails, our pool, the North Bend Rail Trail, the nature center, and bike rentals. The Campground also includes a small fishing pond.

River Run Campground offers 49 sites. 26 sites have electricity on site and water points are available throughout the area. 23 sites are basic and have no electricity and share a central water point. The check-in station for the River Run Campground is open daily from the first weekend in May until the end of September.

The Cokeley Campground was opened in 2008 and features 28 sites, each with hook-ups for electricity and water. Three sites are handicapped accessible and a modern bathhouse with coin operated washers and dryers are available for all campers. The check-in station at the campground is open during the summer.

The campground is part of the Cokeley Recreation Area, which includes access to nature trails, a 305-acre lake, opened in 2003, a boat and canoe launch, two handicapped-accessible fishing platforms, and boat and fishing accessory rentals. The lake was formed by the North Hughes River Dam and is stocked with bass, crappie, and musky to offer excellent flat-water fishing. According to state park regulations, swimming is prohibited in and around boat launch areas.

Cats and dogs are welcome in both campgrounds, if they are kept on a 10-foot or shorter leash. While reservations are not required, certain sites are available for reservation.
